again. As the Rockaway singles up all lines to set sail for Williamsburg,
Virginia, she is looking for all hands who once proudly served on her to
As we sail down the Atlantic Coast and into Hampton Roads and up the James River to
Williamsburg, VA, where the Rockaway will be docking for it's sixth reunion at the Holiday
Inn Gateway. The ETA beginning October 15, 2009. We have blocked 40 rooms between the
14th and 19th of October, 2009 for those of you who wish to arrive early or stay later.
THURSDAY - October 15th
Reservations have been made at the Christiana Campbell's Tavern in
Williamsburg for Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Reservations are limited to
30 people and we already have received 19 reservations. The cost for the
dinners are between $30.00 to $40.00 per person ordering off the menu.
Please advise Frank as soon as possible if you plan on going to the Tavern on
Friday - October 16th
Check in at 4:00 P.M.
Hospitality room opens at 12 Noon and closes at 11:00 P.M. Due to State of Virginia ABC
Rules they must supply the beer and wine and provide an employee of the hotel to pour the
beer and wine. Therefore, beer and wine starts at 4 P.M. we will supply the soda, chips and
dips, etc. starting at noon. The keg of beer is the cheapest way to go and they will supply the
10 oz. cups. As someone said to me that they hadn't been to a keg party in years.
Saturday - Oct 17th
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Hospitality room opens. Keg time will be noon.
10:00 a.m. - Ladies coffee during men's business meeting which will be at the same time.
4:30 p.m. - Pictures starting at this time, we have not able to locate a photographer, but
working on it.
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Attitude Adjustment with cash bar.
6:30 p.m. - Banquet Room opens with a Dinner Buffet.
Sunday - October 18th
7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Hale and Farewell buffet Breakfast
