Henry Lentz Emrich

Henry “Hank” Lentz Emrich, 86, of Leaf Park, Lancaster, PA, died on Sunday
the 8th of October 2017.  Born on Sunday the 4th of January 1931 in Lebanon,
PA, he was the son of the Late William Edward Emrich, Sr. and Audrey Mary
Lentz Emrich.

He married S. Anita Starry, on December 27, 1952, at Saint James Lutheran
Church in Lebanon, PA and was looking forward to celebrating their 65th
wedding anniversary.

Hank graduated from Lebanon Senior High School, Class of 1949.  He served in
the United States Coast Guard aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Rockaway,
WAVP-377, from 1952 to 1952, which was stationed on weather patrol in the
North Atlantic Ocean.  He attended the Culinary Institute of America in New
Haven, Connecticut.  He was the Chef and Owner, along with his wife, of
Country Mill founded in 1959 in Millersville, PA until they retired from the
business in 1985.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Anita, along with two sons: Hans Rolando
Emrich, Zane Gilbert Emrich and his wife, Eileen Sheridan Emrich, and four
daughters: Hillary Kim Ngai Emrich, Page Hong Ngai Emrich, Adele Huong Ngai
Emrich Lamb and her husband, Matthew Thomas More Lamb, and Sianna Kim
Ngai Emrich.  Additionally, his beloved grandson, Guy, and his granddaughters,
Megan, Tara and Amanda.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Edward Emrich, Jr. and his
brother-in-law, Edgar Guy Starry.  Hank is also survived by his sisters-in-law
Shirley Mae Denhardt Emrich, Joan Louise Kreiser Starry, Katysue Starry Hine
and his brother-in-law Edward Frantz Hine along with his nieces and nephews:
Mark, Marla, Meg, Kelly, David, Donald, Rebekah, Guy, Nathan and Anita.

A memorial for the immediate family will be held in the future at their
